Mounting Options Available

Stud Notes

Cast Metal Letters have threaded stud bosses for thread insertion.

Flat Cut Metal Letters have tapped holes for stud insertion and are stud welded.

Flush Mounting

Studs are set in adhesive cement. There is no space between the metal letter and the mounting surface.

Projected Jam Nut Mounting

Studs are set in adhesive cement. Stainless steel jam nuts are inserted between the cast metal letter and the mounting surface.

Projected Spacer Mounting

Studs are set in adhesive cement. Pre-cut spacers are inserted between the cast metal letter and the letter mounting surface.

Corrugated Mounting

Studs are set using jam nuts on the front and back of the corrugation. You will need access to the rear of the wall for this letter application.

Flat Metal Wall Mounting

Where you have access to the rear of the wall, washers and nuts are used on both sides of it.

Double Rail Letter Installation

Ships unassembled.

• $20 per letter. Maximum single piece length is 8 feet. Additional shipping charges may apply. Anodized rails $25 per letter.
• 2 Rows of rails secured to back of letter with stainless steel screws. Available on letters 4" to 24" high. Aluminum letters only.

Bottom Rail Installation

Ships unassembled.

• $17 per letter. Maximum single piece length is 8 feet. Additional shipping charges may apply. Anodized rails $20 per letter.
• Letters drilled and tapped from the bottom with stainless steel screws going through aluminum rails.
• Avaiable on letters 4" to 24" high; 3/8" or thicker. Aluminum letters only.
• Letters with round bottoms (i.e., O, S, G, etc.) will have a flattened base to receive studs. Exterior applications greater than 8" letters require tiebacks (not supplied).
  

Bottom Stud Installation - no rail

• $10 per letter. Minimum 3/8" thick.
• Letters drilled and tapped from the bottom. Customer to provide their own bar or channel for mounting.
• Letters with round bottoms (i.e., O, S, G, etc.) will have a flattened base to receive studs. Exterior applications greater than 8" letters require tiebacks (not supplied).
• Note: Installing any metal letters to metal rails of other composition can create galvanic corrosion at stud locations.

Notes on all rail installations:

1. Aluminum letters 4" to 24" only.
2. Rail standard is black baked enamel finish. Other colors available. C-channel is standard; bar stock may be substituted by Gemini.
3. Anodized bars are also available.
4. Ships unassembled.
5. Additional 15% charge to finish back of letters.
6. Specify if rails are to be flush with ends or extended beyond first and last letter.
7. Additional shipping charges may apply.
8. Maximum single piece length is 8'.
